Golden Valley Heating & Air (“Golden Valley,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is responsible for this website and the personal information it receives through website service requests, estimates, calls, online advertising, Facebook or Instagram lead forms, and related service-request channels. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, when we disclose it, and how to contact us about privacy.

Notice at collection

At or before we collect personal information, we use it for the purposes described in this policy: to respond to a request, discuss an offer, estimate, tune-up, repair, or installation; schedule and provide HVAC services; protect our systems; keep required records; and send optional future promotions only when you separately agree. We do not use a service or offer request by itself as consent for recurring promotional calls or texts.

Categories of personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect identifiers and contact details, including your name, phone number, email address, and service address; customer-record information, such as ZIP code and request notes; commercial information, such as the service, offer, estimate, system characteristics, or general financing preference you select; and internet or network activity, such as browser, device, referral, page-interaction, advertising-source, and cookie-choice information.

The instant-estimate flow may ask an IP-location service to infer an approximate city or county from your internet connection so it can show a relevant service area. That service receives the IP address necessary to make the lookup. We do not ask you to submit Social Security numbers, payment-card or bank-account information, government identification, medical information, or other sensitive personal information through the public forms. Please do not include that information in a form note.

Sources of information

We collect information directly from you when you submit a form, call, text, email, or otherwise contact us. We may also receive it from Facebook or Instagram lead forms, advertising campaign records, referral sources, public-facing review or social platforms, our CRM and communications providers, and automatically through the website when you permit optional analytics.

Facebook, Instagram, and online-ad lead forms

If you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form for Golden Valley, Golden Valley receives the information you provide in that form together with available campaign, form, and lead-source information. We use it to contact you about the offer, estimate, tune-up, repair, or other request you submitted. Meta handles information inside its products under Meta’s own privacy practices.

When a lead form includes an affirmative marketing-consent selection, Golden Valley and its authorized CRM and communications providers may use the recorded consent to send the future promotions described in that form. A request for a service response or offer redemption alone is not permission for recurring promotional calls or texts.

How we use and disclose information

We use personal information to provide requested HVAC information and services; answer questions; administer estimates, offers, appointments, and service records; improve the website; detect fraud or misuse; protect our rights and safety; and comply with applicable law. We may disclose information to personnel and service providers working for Golden Valley, including our CRM and communications providers, website host, IP-location provider, optional analytics provider when you allow analytics, advertising lead-management provider, financing or payment providers when you request those services, and service-fulfillment providers. They may use the information only to provide services to or for Golden Valley, subject to applicable agreements and law.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a valid legal process, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or security issues, protect the safety or rights of Golden Valley, customers, or the public, or as part of a business transition permitted by law.

Sale, sharing, and mobile consent

Golden Valley does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required notice or choice before using information for a new purpose.

Calls, texts, and future promotions

Submitting a service or offer request asks Golden Valley to contact you about that request. If you separately select the optional marketing-consent checkbox, you agree to the disclosure presented with that checkbox: Optional marketing consent — I agree to receive recurring promotional calls and text messages, including future offers, from Golden Valley Heating & Air at the number provided, including through an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded/artificial voice where applicable. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

You can revoke text-message consent by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or call (559) 900-9218. You may ask us not to make further marketing calls at any time. When marketing consent is selected, we retain the affirmative choice, exact disclosure text and version, source URL or lead-form source, and capture time so that we can document the consent record. Consent is not required to receive an offer response, estimate, or HVAC service.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose. Lead, service, estimate, and consent records may be retained while we respond to or perform the request and afterward for legitimate business, tax, accounting, warranty, dispute-resolution, legal, security, and consent-recordkeeping needs. Cookie-choice information remains in your browser until you clear it or change the choice. We review retention needs and delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable legal requirements.

California privacy rights

California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy law to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of certain selling or sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. We provide these rights subject to verification and legal exceptions. California residents may also use an authorized agent where applicable. Our services and advertising are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
